I'm very discouraged today, after spending a little more time talking to more rabid Obama supporters who absolutely refused to discuss politics with me after I walked in on their lovefest and dared to challenge their understanding of Obama's plans with some actual information.
They are very open about not wanting to know and one even admitted she doesn't care at all what he has said, she is simply voting her hope. She was completely unaware that Obama planned to redistribute income, challenging me with a loud, "that's NOT TRUE!" It's amazing what people haven't heard on mainstream TV, but even more shocking what they admittedly do not want to know.
I have come to realize that if McCain is somehow elected tomorrow, it will be worse for him and more specifically worse for Palin. Unfortunately, if they are elected, Obama's supporters will spend every minute of the next 4 years destroying them the way they have crushed George Bush into nothing more than a bumbling idiot who is somehow at the same time the most evil genius who has ever lived, capable of manipulating even the weather for his diabolical plot.
It would be better for them to lose and allow Obama some time to ruin the country, but unfortunately so many of Obama's plans have a "toothpaste out of the tube" effect, so we would not easily be able to go back and fix the damage.
Thank goodness for San Francisco. It's the only place radical enough where he feels he will be accepted just as he is. Unfortunately he hasn't quite figured out that recording devices do work in California and what he says to his more radical voter base DOES get back to the rest of us.
